- Pistol grip and tripod in one: a comfortable ribbed handle for handheld shots, with fold-out legs for a steady table stand. A red knob locks the head angle.

Good to know: this kit is sold under the KIT-01LM model number by several sellers, and some versions use AA batteries in the light. The pack we stock comes with a USB charging cable for the light.
Will the Mic Work With My Phone?
The microphone has a 3.5mm plug. Phones with a headphone jack can use it directly. Most new Android phones and iPhones need a USB-C or Lightning to 3.5mm adapter that supports microphone input, since some adapters only carry sound out. Set the switch on the mic mount to the phone position for smartphones. If you’d rather skip cables, a wireless mic like the Plokama VM-80 is an easier option.
KIT-01LM or AY-49?
Both are 5-in-1 phone video kits. The KIT-01LM has a pistol grip that’s more comfortable for handheld filming, a rechargeable 36-LED light and a shotgun mic with a coiled cable. The AY-49 vlogging kit is smaller and lighter, with a mini tripod and a 49-LED light that runs on AA batteries. The KIT-01LM costs more because of the pistol grip, the rechargeable light and the better shotgun mic. Pick it if you film handheld a lot, or the AY-49 if you want a smaller kit on a tighter budget.
