The Faster Straygos BG-600 gaming headset is a wireless headset you can connect three ways: with a 2.4GHz USB dongle, over Bluetooth 5.3, or with a 3.5mm cable. It has large 50mm drivers, a microphone that cleans up your voice (ENC) and RGB lighting on the earcups. You can choose Black, White or Beige.
What is the Faster Straygos BG-600 gaming headset?
Straygos is Faster’s gaming headset range, and BG-600 is the model number. It is made for long gaming sessions. You can use it with a PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and with Android or iOS phones, so one headset can cover your whole setup.
Three ways to connect
Use the 2.4GHz USB dongle for gaming. This makes it a 2.4GHz wireless gaming headset with a delay of under 25 ms (Faster’s figure), so the sound stays in step with the game. Use Bluetooth 5.3 to connect a phone or tablet. Use the 3.5mm cable (the aux wire is in the box) when you want a wired link. Wireless range is up to 15 metres.
One thing to know: the headset cannot be used while it is charging. Charge it with the Type-C cable first, then play.
Sound: 50mm drivers and surround effect
Each earcup has a 50mm driver. Faster says this gives a wide soundstage and deep bass, which helps with footsteps and explosions in games and with films. The headset also has a surround sound effect (Faster describes it as 360°), so the sound feels bigger and more immersive.
Microphone: ENC, not ANC
The microphone has ENC (environmental noise cancelling). It reduces the background noise around your voice, so your team can hear you clearly. This is ENC for the mic only. The headset does not have ANC. The over-ear design still blocks some outside noise.
Comfort, controls and lights
The ear cushions are soft leather and the design is light, to help during long sessions. The earcup has buttons for volume and for muting the mic, so you do not need to stop playing. The RGB lighting on the earcups adds some colour to your desk.
Phones, PC and consoles
It works with PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Android or iOS phones. If you are checking a PS5 headset price in Pakistan, note that Faster lists PS5 as compatible. Always check which connection (2.4GHz, Bluetooth or cable) suits your device.
