The CMF Buds Pro 2 are Nothing’s budget noise cancelling earbuds, and they punch well above their price. You get hybrid ANC rated up to 50dB, two drivers in each bud, LDAC for Hi-Res audio and a charging case with a real dial on the front that you can twist and press. We keep all four colours at our Johar Town, Lahore shop and deliver the CMF Buds Pro 2 free anywhere in Pakistan.
Most earbuds at this price make you tap your ear and hope it registers. Here the case does the work: twist the Smart Dial to change the volume, press it to switch noise cancelling. It sounds like a gimmick until you use it on a bike, in a crowded bus or with your hands full.
CMF Buds Pro 2 noise cancelling: up to 50dB hybrid ANC

Each bud uses a hybrid system, with microphones on the outside and the inside. The outer mics cancel noise before it reaches you and the inner mics correct whatever still leaks in. Nothing rates it at up to 50dB across a range of up to 5,000Hz, which covers the low rumble of a generator, traffic noise and office chatter.
When you need to hear a delivery rider at the door or an announcement at the station, switch to Transparency mode and outside sound comes through without taking the buds out. Wind Noise Reduction 3.0 helps outdoors, and in-ear detection pauses your music when you pull a bud out.
The Smart Dial on the CMF Buds Pro 2 case

The dial sits on the front of the charging case and works while the buds are in your ears. Twist it to adjust the volume or move between tracks. Press it to change the noise cancelling mode, call up your voice assistant, turn on Low Lag Mode for games or mute your mic in a meeting.
You decide which action goes where in the Nothing X app, so the dial ends up doing the things you actually use. The buds still have touch controls for calls and playback if you leave the case in your bag.
CMF Buds Pro 2 sound quality
Inside each bud there is an 11mm bass driver paired with a 6mm micro-planar tweeter. The big driver handles kick drums and bass lines, and the small one keeps vocals and cymbals clean so they do not get buried. Nothing tuned the pair with Dirac Opteo, which corrects the acoustic limits of the earbud shape for a more accurate sound stage.
If your phone supports LDAC (most mid-range and flagship Android phones do), the CMF Buds Pro 2 stream at Hi-Res Audio Wireless quality. iPhones use AAC, which still sounds good. Ultra Bass Technology 2.0 lifts the low end in real time with five levels to pick from, and Spatial Audio Effect gives films and games a wider, more cinematic feel.
CMF Buds Pro 2 battery life and charging
Each bud carries a 60mAh battery and the case holds 460mAh. With noise cancelling off you get up to 11 hours from the buds and 43 hours in total with the case. With ANC on, expect up to 6.5 hours from the buds and 26 hours with the case. These are Nothing’s figures at 50% volume, so the numbers drop a little if you like it loud.
Short on time? Ten minutes of charging gives up to 6.5 hours of music. A full charge takes about 60 minutes for the buds and 85 minutes for the buds and case together.
Calls, fit and IP55 water resistance

Six HD microphones with Clear Voice Technology 3.0 pick out your voice and push back background noise, so the person on the other end hears you and not the road. Each bud weighs just 4.9g and comes with S, M and L ear tips. Run the ear tip fit test in the Nothing X app to check the seal, because a good seal matters for both bass and noise cancelling.

The earbuds are rated IP55 against water and dust, so gym sweat and light rain on the way home are fine. They are not made for swimming.
Nothing X app features

The free Nothing X app (Android 6.0 and above, iOS 13 and above) unlocks the extras: a custom equaliser, bass levels, Smart Dial settings, the fit test, Find My Earbuds and firmware updates. Dual connection keeps the CMF Buds Pro 2 linked to your phone and laptop at the same time, while Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair make the first pairing quick. On a CMF or Nothing phone you can also call up ChatGPT straight from the buds.
CMF Buds Pro 2 colours

Pick from Dark Grey, Light Grey, Orange or Blue. Dark Grey is the safe, low-key choice, and Orange is the one customers ask about most at the counter. Every colour comes with a matching case and a silver dial.
